As a part of the project "Holistic approach for successful integration of migrants" from 03-07 April 2007, SOS Children's Village Macedonia, with the partners "Social chamber of Slovenia" and "Erasmus +", organised working conference in Ohrid, R.Macedonia.
This project meeting was one of theirs project activities and also one part of dissemination of the project "Holistic approach for successful integration of migrants", which was approved as part of the Call Erasmus + 2016 EAC / A04 / 2015 of the key measures of Cooperation for innovation and exchange of best practices and campaigns KA202, strategic partnership in the field of vocational educational training.
The main objective of this project is the development of innovation.
At the first day, Srdjan Amet from SOS Children's Village Macedonia had the welcome note and presented the program/concept, methodology of the work.
In the next days fallowed the presentations of the public institutions and organisations who were playing the crucial role in the dealing with the refugee crisis in Macedonia. First presentation was from Red Cross of City of Skopje, then the next presentation was of Center of Management of Crises, by Marija Milkova and Goran Stojanovski, manager of the transit center Tabanovce. The next day theirs presentations had the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of R.Macedonia, by Mujo Mashovikj and Magdalena Petrova, of UNICEF Macedonia, by Vlatko Jovanovski.
The same day, the president of NGO Legis, Jasmin Redzepi, was presenting the role, duties and the good practice of Legis in field of the refugee crisis and the integration of the refugees in the society. The time of the presentation was long enough to be presented all the work of Legis from the beginning of the refugee aid activities from October 2014 until present, all the projects, all successful missions and cooperation with the partner organisations and public institutions as CMC, MLSP and MOI (Ministry of Interior).
The last presentation was presented by Macedonian Young Lawyers Association.
This working conference was very well organised and was very nice opportunity for the guests to have the real picture of the dealing with the refugee crisis in Macedonia, which was different then in the other Balkan and European countries.
