On 26 and 27 of June 2019, representatives from Legis took a part at the regional training workshop organized by the international organization Save the Children.
The training was organized in Tirana, Albania, where several organizations from North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Romania Belgium and Bosnia and Hercegovina took a part.
The working subject of the training workshop was “Advocacy for Children in move”.
At the beginning the general secretary of Legis, Jasmin Redjepi, introduce the participants with the current situation of the refugees and asylum seekers in North of Macedonia. In the next session he explained the positive examples of the advocacy that Legis did in the past, as changing the Law for asylum in 2015, the liberation of the detained refugees at the detention center in Skopje and other.
The training was very good opportunity for networking and connecting with other NGOs that work on the same field.
