Migrants from Syria, Pakistan and India found in Macedonia

On 08/29/2022 at 01:30 a.m. near a place called “Osmicite” on the regional road Strumica – Suvi Laki, two people were found in a passenger van “Mercedes” left by the side of the road by police officers from the Pehcevo Border Surveillance Police Station – migrants from Syria.

 

Later, at 7:45 a.m. during a field inspection, 35 migrants were found near the site, 28 of them from Syria, 6 from Pakistan and 1 from India, including two minors.

 

The migrants were transferred to the Vinojug Transit Reception Center in Gevgelija and the Public Prosecutor was informed about the event. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate report will be submitted.
