On Thursday (23.12.2021) from 11:00 it was held the traditional New Year’s bazaar in the center of Gevgelija. All the handcrafts made by the employees of the Transit Center “Vinojug” including our creative colleague Jasmina Kostadinova from Legis, were exhibited on the stand.
On Thursday (23.12.2021) from 11:00 it was held the traditional New Year’s bazaar in the center of Gevgelija. All the handcrafts made by the employees of the Transit Center “Vinojug” including our creative colleague Jasmina Kostadinova from Legis, were exhibited on the stand.
The low climate temperature wasn’t an excuse to not let the people come and visit the bazaar and so they were able to buy s.th from the beautiful ornaments, handmade crafts and the New Year’s cards. It was a good opportunity to the visitors to remind them about the refugees and their needs, to remind the tradition of giving gifts and cards for the holiday and to support our work with the refugees.
The kids enjoyed the time with the Santa Clause and they took some kind gifts.
All the money will be donated to the Transit Center Vinojug, Gevgelija.
This activity about raising the awareness for the refugees was supported by Legis, IOM, UNCHR and Red Cross, Skopje.
