Our Rights, Our Voice

From the 27th to 28th of August, 2021, Legis held a Human Rights Training for young people coming from underrepresented ethnic communities aiming to strengthen their capacities of through education about human rights. The training was held Scardus Hotel&Spa in Popova Sapka, Tetovo.

From the 27th to 28th of August, 2021, Legis held a Human Rights Training for young people coming from underrepresented ethnic communities aiming to strengthen their capacities of through education about human rights. The training was held Scardus Hotel&Spa in Popova Sapka, Tetovo.

Participants were young people from Skopje and Kumanovo from different nationalities who successfully completed the main point of the training.

They respresented their cultures and their obstacles which they face in daily life just because they are part of a minority group of people.

On other side, trainers were:

Jasmina Golubovska who talked about International and domestic human rights and freedoms legislation,

Denis Selmani from Avaja whose topic was about Rights of Minorities in North Macedonia, and

Mersiha Smailovic Inter and multiculturalism, youth and activism.

In this training we had interactive discussions and other activities which helped the training to be completed successfully.

In the end, an online platform is preparing from the youth to work on online campaign to promote multiculturalism and human rights as well.

Legis continuous to work with young people as they can change the society for better.
