Public call for participation in Human Rights school and youth activism for students from non-majority ethnic communities in RNM

 

Our Rights, Our Voice

For the past few year back, Legis annually organizes the Human Rights School and youth activism called “Our Rights, Our Voice”, for students coming from minority ethnic communities. Hundreds of young people from minority ethnic communities had the opportunity to learn how to practice their rights, made civic actions, communicate, volunteer and join our Youth group – Legis Youth Voices.

This year the School will take place in Hotel Skardus–Popova Shapka, from 27.04 to 30.04.2023 and is financially supported by the Ministry for political system and relations between the communities. The purpose of the School is: To provide access to non-formal education and enrich the knowledge of young people from minority communities in International Human Rights Law and Ohrid Framework Agreement.

The School is open on national level to Students from non-majority ethnic communities in North Macedonia. The applicants should have medium to high understanding of the English language due to lecturer coming outside the country. The School provides the Students with experienced lecturers in the areas of Human Rights and Youth Activism.
