Reaction to the circumstances in North Africa

We follow the unfortunate events in North Africa with great sadness and concern.
The earthquake in Morocco and the floods in Libya claimed almost the same number of lives, and the death toll is rising on daily basis. Part of the world sent rescue teams in solidarity. Unfortunately, thousands of families were left homeless.
People from these areas tried to migrate across our country every day, due to security or economic reasons. In the future, we expect that number to increase, and the climate change factor to be added to the reasons of migration.
Climate change as a migration factor must be taken seriously and inserted as a valid reason for seeking asylum at the international level. Climate changes will be more and more frequent, and as part of their negative consequences the migration will be increased.
