A smuggler hit a pole with 16 migrants, three were injured

Three migrants out of 16 were injured after S.M. (23) from Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a temporary stay in Skopje, fleeing from a police patrol, first hit a ramp at the Smokvica toll station, and after continuing to move, hit a pillar in the village of Negorci.

As informed by SVR Strumica, yesterday at 19:45 on the Skopje-Gevgelija highway, he did not stop at a stop sign given by police officers and with an Audi passenger vehicle with Skopje license plates, which he was driving, transporting 16 migrants.

The injured migrants were taken to the hospital in Gevgelija, and a police team inspected the place.

S.M. was detained at the Gevgelija Police Station, and the public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption-Skopje was informed about the event.
