Greetings!
We are at the main offices of the humanitarian organization IHH, in Istanbul, Turkiye. We’ve just got back from the Earthquake affected areas in the province of Hatay, surrounding villages and the provinces of Kahramanmaras and Gaziantep. Today, we’ve distributed the donations coming from the people and donors from North Macedonia along Legis representative on field.
Also, in certain areas we’ve had the opportunity to distribute hot meals and visit the camps and sites and make assessments of the urgent needs for people affected by this unfortunate event.
We are thankful to all donors from North Macedonia, Legis staff who worked relentlessly day and night to help people in need. IHH will continue the cooperation with Legis to assist as many people and assess the need in future. This is a devastating Earthquake and one of the largest natural catastrophes in the last century in Tyrkiye and the World.
Once again, we show our appreciation to the donors’ community, our partners and citizens in moral and material support.
