Two residents of Bogdanci, aged 24 and 21, have been deprived of liberty after 13 migrants from Syria were found in the car they were driving this morning on the Gevgelija Skopje highway at the Miravci interchange, the Ministry of Interior announced. The migrants were in a vehicle with Skopje license plates driven by one of the residents of Bogdanci.

On 02.11.2021 around 01:30, police officers from the Police Station for Border Crossing and Border Surveillance deprived DJ (24) and LJB (21), both from Bogdanci. On the highway Gevgelija-Skopje, at the junction “Miravci”, in a vehicle “BMW” with Skopje license plates, driven by D.J, and co-driver G.B, were found 13 migrants from Syria. They were detained at a police station, and the migrants were handed over to the Vinojug Transit Reception Center in Gevgelija. “After the case is fully documented, an appropriate charge will be filed against them,” said the Ministry of Interior.
